About Kat

Outdoor Sports

Hi, I’m Kat.

I work with people who are navigating periods of change, uncertainty, and emotional complexity. These are often moments when the way they once understood themselves, their relationships, or their future no longer quite fits. This might show up through life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety in relationships, obsessive or intrusive thought patterns, or the challenges of adolescence and early adulthood. Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful, and self-aware, yet feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves.

I offer a non-judgemental, compassionate space to explore what is coming up for you, at a pace that feels respectful and supportive. Together, we make room for difficult emotions - grief, fear, doubt, ambivalence - while also paying attention to what matters most to you and how you want to move forward. My work is grounded in the belief that symptoms often make sense in context, and that healing happens through curiosity, relationship, and developing a kinder relationship with yourself.

I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor and Art Therapist, with both a two-year postgraduate diploma in art therapy and a Master’s degree in counselling psychology. My approach is integrative and relational, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based approaches, and expressive arts. I work with youth and adults, and have particular experience supporting people with relationship and ROCD-related anxiety, identity questions, and experiences of grief and loss.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to meeting you where you are, and supporting you in reconnecting with yourself in ways that feel meaningful, steady, and sustainable
